| Dear Families, Thank you for expressing an interest in Pasadena Community Church Preschool. PCCS offers a quality preschool experience that is age-appropriate and targets all areas of your child’s development. Our hours of operation are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and we offer several different programs and options to meet your family’s needs. PCCS is a ministry of Pasadena Community Church and has been serving our community for over 50 years. Our preschool is licensed by the Pinellas County License Board (LIC. # C620084) and is currently seeking accreditation from the United Methodist Association of Preschools (UMAP). Our staff is dedicated, nurturing and highly qualified. Our Curriculum is theme-based and meets or exceeds the Florida School Readiness Performance Standards. We encourage families to get involved in their children’s preschool experience. We promote a volunteer program for families and value the rich resources of our school community. We also maintain a Parent Advisory Committee that meet monthly, with the director, to organize school events, review concerns, and support our staff. We are pleased to announce that we are participating, as a provider, in the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program (VPK). This program entitles every child, residing in Florida, who turns four before September 1st to 540 hours of instructional time to be completed in a traditional school year. Extended care will be available at a fee. If you are interested in enrolling at PCCS we encourage you to tour facilities and classrooms. We, at Pasadena Community Church Preschool, recognize that children are unique, and that each individual child develops differently and grows at his or her own pace.
