Pasadena Community Church Preschool is a ministry that focuses on instilling
Christian values and providing a quality early childhood educational experience. We
aspire to do so in a compassionate and loving environment, which nurtures the total
child.
Our purpose is to create a Christ-centered environment where every child will feel
safe and secure and have the opportunity to develop at his or her own individual
pace. The learning environment involves children, encourages them to investigate
their world and explore culture and diversity while taking an active role in their
classroom community. Daily opportunities are provided for problem solving, critical
thinking, and socialization. We strive to assist each child in attaining the skills
necessary for their social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual growth.

| Mission Statement |
- We will continure to serve our community as a mission of Pasadena Community
Church. We will continure to help meet the needs of the community by
offering a nurturing Christian Enviroment for young children to grow and
develop,
- We will continue to seek and maintain a highly qualified staff. We will
continue to build our staff into a team instilled with a passion for teaching, a
love for our children and families, and a desire to work and share in the
Christian values of Christ.
- We have a goal to open a fourth VPK classroom in fall 2008, utilizing the
classroom in the west wing. We also hope to maintain our additional three-
year-old classroom that we established this year.
- We hope to establish a new and exciting spiritual curriculum that involves
children and staff in the stories and teachings of the bible, while offering
them everyday experiences that bring them opportunities to serve and be
disciples of the Lord.
- We will continue to make improvements to our campus and facility to provide
the safest and securest environment for our staff, children, and families.

| PHILOSOPHY |
Pasadena Community Church Preschool is a ministry of Pasadena
Community Church, a United Methodist congregation.
Our goal is to provide a quality preschool program in a nurturing Christian
environment that provides for the growth and development of each
individual child. We are committed to meeting the needs of each child in
the areas of cognitive, physical, social, emotional and spiritual
development, in a manner that is age appropriate.
Our certified staff and administrative team are dedicated to work with
our church and school community to convey Christian values and allow all
children the opportunity to experience the love of God, on a daily basis.
Through this guidance we will encourage children to build a sense of
autonomy, grow with a positive self-concept, and acquire the skills and
concepts needed to be successful in all of life’s journeys.
