Hi my name is Amy Campbell. This is my first year at PCCS and I am the lead Pre-K teacher in Purple Dot. I graduated from
St. Petersburg College with a general AA degree and hopefully soon I will be working on my bachelor’s degree in
elementary education. I have been working with preschool age children for eight years.
My name is Arin Taylor. I recently joined Ms. Amy as an assistant teacher in Purple Dot. I grew up in a small town in Florida
called Steinhatchee and I have lived in St. Petersburg for the past 8 years. I have been married to Casey for 10 years and
we have 2 beautiful girls Jaden 5 and Lauryn 9. Last December I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from USF in Interdisciplinary
Social Sciences with several credits in education. I have over 5 years experience working in the early childhood field and
I absolutely love working with children.
Hi I am Mrs. Gardner the Pre-K Green Dot Teacher. I started working at PCCS when I enrolled my son Hank in
1989. I worked in the afternoon program. I also started working part time in Mother’s Morning Out and Christian
Playgroup. In 1991 I received my CDA and became the lead teacher in Christian Playgroup. In 1993 I had a new
nephew and I decided to be a stay at home mom and I also became a family nanny. In 1997 the three of us
decided to become foster parents. We fostered 10 children and we adopted 3 of them. We are now a family of 6.
Hank is now 22 and in the marines. Austin is 12 and starting Middle School. Breanna is 10 and Jason is 8. I
started back at Pasadena Community Church Preschool when I enrolled Jason in Red Dot in 2003. I started as
the Green Dot assistant for 1 year and in 2004 became the lead teacher. I tell everyone that I am the mother of 22
kids. My children at school I treat as my own. I give them a lot of TLC and fun.
My name is Nicole Jackson and I am a Pre-K assistant in the yellow dot room. I have been in this field for 5 years
now. I have been with PCCS since November 07. I’m currently graduated with my AA degree in Education. I
have taken a lot of early childhood classes and will be continuing to further my education.
My name is Joan Bates. I work with the 4 and 5 year olds in Yellow Dot. I’d like to take this opportunity to let you
know about my education and experience. After graduation from Boca Ciega High School, I completed the
School of Practical Nursing at Tomlison Adult Education School. I then received my CDA from Pinellas County
Votech. My continuing education courses were completed at SPJC during my more then twenty years teaching
here at Pasadena.
Hello my name is Ms. Lucia. I have worked in Early Childhood since I was in high school. While attending high
school I worked in a preschool two hours a day. These hours were counted as my elective courses and allowed
me to receive my early childhood training through the state of Florida. I then furthered my education while
working at a Christian preschool and being a nanny. Currently I am completing my A.A. in Early Childhood
Education and have the goal of continuing on for my bachelor’s degree. I have a four-year-old son that is my
world. I feel very blessed to have him. In my free time I coach minor girls fast pitch softball and play in a coed
league. This year I look forward to being able to volunteer in my son’s sport’s leagues also. This is my third year
with the PCCS family, and I appreciate the opportunity to teach your children!
I am Traci Reaume. I am the Pink Dot Pre-K teacher here at PCCS. I am a mother of two young girls, ages 4 and 7.
I graduated From SPC with an A.A. in Early Childhood and have been teaching for about 10 years. My goal is to
provide the children with an early childhood education to become all that they can be. Our jobs here are very
important because we are educating the future of our country and the world we live in.
My name is Becky Brockway. I am the teacher’s assistant in Green Dot. I graduated from Gibbs High School.
I’m married 23 years and have 3 children. While my children were young, I ran my own In-Home Daycare. After 7
years I realized that I was the only one in the family who had a “passion” for it! For 14 years after that I did
something completely different! I started a cleaning business. I liked it for about 4 years and dreaded it the last
10 years. I knew something was missing in my life, which were kids! I joined PCCS two years ago, completed
my required training, and have started my CDA classes. I would love to be a lead teacher someday, and hope to
do it here at PCCS!
My name is Miss Kathy. I help cover teacher breaks and work in the afternoon program. I am in my second year
working with pre-school children mostly three to five year olds. I enjoy my work because it is challenging,
interesting, fun and satisfying. I have completed all training required by the State of Florida. I have an accounting
background and worked for Hennessy Construction Services over 11 years before joining the PCCS family.
I’m Ms. Yolanda and I have four years past experience working for a school for special needs children in New York
City. My experience has allowed me to work with children diagnosed with Down syndrome, Autism and ADHD. I
have worked with children from birth to 5 years of age. I also have three years experience working as a medical
assistant. I currently have a busy schedule working at PCCS fulltime, caretaking for a family member with autism
twice a month, and tutoring school age children in the Spanish language two times a week. I am the school’s
designated “floater”, which is just a fancy term for a substitute and I also help to plan the weekly library
experiences for all classes.
Hi, my name is Lynn. I joined PCCS two years ago with the two’s then I became a floater. That change was a great
experience for me to learn from each different age group. Now with more experience I plan to further my
education. I really enjoy working with the three’s and four’s. I have a daughter that is in the two year old class.
PCCS has been a great educational experience for my daughter.
Hello, my name is Ms. Alyse. I am a senior at Boca Ciega High School; I am in both the medical and JROTC
program. I work Tuesday’s and Thursday’s in the afternoons. For the past two summers I have worked with the
Elementary Summer Camp. I love working with the children and it makes me proud to know I am guiding them and
touching their lives.
My name is Ruby Loggins and I’m a mother of four and have three grandchildren. At night I care for mental health
patients at Boley Mental Health Center and work here at PCCS in the afternoons. This is my first year here at
Pasadena Preschool and it is very exciting. I am completing my necessary training courses and look forward to
gaining more experience with young children. I work in the toddler room under the guidance of Ms. Shunnell who
is a great teacher to learn from.
My name is Mr. Scott Browning and I am the children’s Music teacher and praise coordinator for our weekly
children’s chapel. I like to think that I bring an energetic and lively approach to music education and make our
worship time fun for all ages. My professional background is in Choral Conducting, Vocal Production, and Music
Composition. From 2003-2007 I established a successful choral program at Azalea Middle School and have also
been involved in children’s musical theatre, community theatre, and I also teach voice and piano instruction. I also
serve Pasadena Community Church as the Director of Modern Worship Arts. I am very excited to be joining the
PCCS family and am looking forward to many special musical and spiritual experiences with the children
throughout the year.
